Fighting COVID-19, One Meal At A Time!

Annamrita Foundation is a not-for-profit, non-religious, non-sectarian public charitable trust formed in 2004 and registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Its mid-day meal program is being implemented in municipal, government aided and non-aided schools for the benefit of underprivileged children. The work is done without any commercial motive and the benefits are available to needy students at large without any discrimination on the grounds of religion, caste, creed or gender. Since the launch, we have set up state-of-the-art kitchens in 20 locations across India. We have long resolved to uplift the health status of children by liberating them from the vicious cycle of Illiteracy and Malnutrition by providing them nutritious, satvik food prepared in hi-tech kitchen which nourishes the body and nurtures the soul. Our state-of-the-art kitchen complies with all FSSAI norms and is also certified with ISO 22000:2005. Currently, we, at Annamrita Foundation, are on a mission to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic, one meal at a time. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have served more than 2.15 crore meals to labourers, healthcare workers, patients & their families and others in need. We follow strict adherence to WHO guidelines on maintaining social distance and personal hygiene while sourcing, preparing, and delivering food.
